Home sweet home
As the days get shorter and we spend our evenings by candlelight, we know winter is near.
Candle houses and votive holders in snow-white porcelain cast a soothing light into the darkness.
We bake the first treats and store them in pretty biscuit tins, and arrange Advent candles,
pine cones and sprigs of pine on elegant white plates.
And once the Advent countdown has begun, Christmas motifs move in.
We have manger scenes made of wood, frosted onto glass houses, stamped onto unglazed
porcelain or as a small wooden manger with porcelain figures.
Angels with hand-painted golden or silver wings and a little heart on their chest herald the good news:
Christmas is near.
